     M&J Engineering, P.C. is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer with a minimum of 10 year of professional experience for the upcoming project at Fort Meade.


    Professional experience should include, but not limited to, the ability to perform the following tasks:


    a. Review construction drawings, construction specifications and resolve construction issues associated with their specific field of engineering.
    b. Provide troubleshooting recommendations to the COR. These shall come in reports with a clear statement of the problem, analysis of the problem and resolution to problem.
    c. Provide comments in RMS citing specific deficiencies on technical submittals and construction plans, and specifications to include but not limited to design flaws, calculation errors, incorrect / missing procedures, and reference of correct information.

    d. Provide review comments on contract submittals pertaining to all contract specification sections, to assure that they conform to the individual specification requirements, document review comments, and recommend government action. The CMSC shall monitor the timeliness of all such submittal reviews in order to ensure their completion within the time frames required by the contracts involved. Monitor the Contractors design, construction or service submittal log and advise the Government of late or overdue submittals.
    e. Attend and participate in an advisory capacity meetings such as preconstruction and pre-performance conferences, quality control coordination meetings, progress meetings, or other conferences and meetings held between the Government’s representatives and construction Contractors or service providers or, where authorized, between representatives of other architectural firms and the Government.
