The Traffic Coordinator monitors projects and executes traffic best practices. This position will manage logs and assist in training users on the traffic system. The Traffic Coordinator must have a detailed familiarity with the roadways, understand communications protocols and be knowledgeable on the location and purpose of all traffic elements. As a traffic coordinator, you will assist the Project Manager with project progress and client communication. The Traffic Coordinator performs assignments under the Senior Vice President, Resident Engineer or the supervisor assigned.

Responsibilities

• Prioritizes work as necessary to ensure client and team success.
• Manages assignments, workloads, and reviews timelines.
• Perform record keeping tasks, keyboard entries and generate daily reports.
• Juggle multiple projects and priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
• Communicate with supervisor, the team, and clients to identify and define project requirements, scopes, and objectives.
• Analyze project progress and adapt scope and timelines as necessary.
• Assign roles and tasks to team members and check in for status updates.
• Build the skill sets of individual team members and capture overall learnings for the company.
• Uphold agency standards and best practices.
• Performs other related duties as required and assigned.

Qualifications

• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Exceptional ability to track and manage details in a dynamic environment.
• Some understanding of design or the creative process helpful but not required.
• Exceptional time management skills
• 1+ year in traffic coordination
• Bachelor’s degree
• Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills
