M&J Engineering is a leader in construction management and inspection, ITS, mechanical, electrical, wastewater, water supply, tunnel airport, port, marine/coastal, environmental engineering, and design-build services for both new infrastructure projects and renovations.

We’re looking for a Contract Administrator with transportation industry experience. This position will support WMATA within the Washington, DC Metro area and is ideal for someone with previous or current WMATA experience or similar experience with a major transportation authority.

Key Responsibilities
·         Perform activities and responsibilities for each task order life cycle from proposal to close-out on all assigned contracts;
·         Plan the entire procurement process from receipt of request for procurement through the cycle of solicitation, contract award, administration, and close-out; and
·         Conduct the award process for assigned task orders including: preparing and/or coordinating all documentation and correspondence for award; opening bids or receiving proposals; evaluating; determining responsiveness and responsibility; working on resolution of bid protests and bid mistakes; determining price reasonableness; and preparing award.

·         A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in business administration, engineering, or related field;
·         A minimum of five (5) years of experience in developing and administering requests for proposals/bids/quotations, specifications, scope of work, and different types of contracts and agreements;
·         Knowledge of many different contracts, solicitations, and agreement types; and
·         Ability to work on multiple tasks at the same time.

WMATA Experience Preferred.
 
Salary Range: $100,000-$115,000
